Reverse Osmosis Water Filter Membrane Element | LOW PRESSURE MEMBRANE FILTER
The new low pressure, cold water, high flow membrane is designed for people who have low water pressure and/or cold water. Low water pressure at the tap (45 psi and lower) can decrease the flow of a reverse osmosis product water. Cold water temperatures also can dramatically decrease flow rates. Another benefit of the membrane is with standard pressures and temperatures (ie: 60 psi and 70 F water) you can expect your RO flow rates to almost double
Reverse Osmosis Membrane; NSF Certified
Excellent quality brand membrane element. This eliminates chlorine and some organic impurities. This membrane removes the following hard water contaminants that may be present in your water: lead, cooper, barium, chromium, mercury, sodium, cadmium, fluoride, nitrite, nitrate, and selenium.
The semi-permeable osmotic membrane comprises a plurality of layers wound onto a perforated mandrel disposed within the membrane. The contaminated water is forced under pressure to the surface of the membrane, wherein water molecules pass through the microscopic pores of the membrane. The contaminants are separated and discarded to drain. Suitable for all RO systems with standard housing membrane 12 inches.
